Hockey background – beat up by Andre Malo on stick and glove at age 13, stopped playing at 14. Returned after 10 years to the Cleveland comets playing B level hockey and earning a spot in the A team playing with some ex-league players. Became a buccaneer at 34 through pure will power and determination. Playoff champ.
